To Reconcile

To Reconcile

The beauty of the mountain view outside

Could easily distract me, but for you;

Your welcome way dismantling the pride,

No other barrier so love came through.

The years seemed to dissolve as memories

Brought with them tears and laughter which reframed

The portrait of a friendship that will seize

Lost time; the moments making history reclaimed.

That nothing happens randomly, and chance

Is not the way life works, though fate’s esteem

Will mask the choreography of Dance

Directed by the One who will redeem—

Relationship submitted to His Will

Forgiveness necessary to fulfill.
